On what criteria does Mindfindr’s suitability assessment based? Is the test scientifically valid?
Mindfindr is the result of long-term research and development work (see Mindfindr’s research background). Several thousand users have been evaluated using the method, and the evaluations have been combined with interviews and other statistical methods. Theoretically, the method is based on personality assessments, e.g. Regarding Big Five classification and abilities, based on empirical research, Gardner’s model of multiple intelligences has been refined: in addition to mathematical, linguistic and spatial abilities, an individual may have other strengths that are useful for success at work.
Does user need to be a psychologist or human resources expert in the interpretation of the suitability assessment?
No, but training and work experience in the field of HR is of course useful in interpreting the results. For the average user, the Mindfindr service offers clear, verbal and graphical results as well as related interpretation instructions.
Mindfindr has a comprehensive occupation list. What occupations are there in the Mindfindr service?
The service currently has more than 350 professions and new professions are constantly being added. Mindfindr occupational classification is based on the ISCO classification. The results report lists the occupations best suited to the respondent’s profile.
